It also has a number of paintings, sketches, frescoes with a myriad of utensils, arms, government decrees, miniature paintings, manuscripts, and antiques with the illustrations of inlay works etc.

Agra’s Taj Museum gives the options to its visitors to get a close look at the genuine pieces of art of this resplendent marble based monument. The drawings portray the magical artwork and accuracy level that had been used in the making of the grand Taj Mahal. That is why the world knows it with its other name “Seventh Wonder of the World”.

Inauguration - It was built between 1899 and 1905. During 1982, the Taj Museum was revamped by Khan Bahadur Hussein.   

Location – It is located inside the complex of Taj Mahal on the western side to the chief gate of Taj Mahal. Its address is Taj Mahal, Dharmpuri, Forest Colony, Taj Ganj, Agra, Uttar Pradesh 282001, India.

Timing – The Museum remains open from 9 am to 5 pm but closed on Fridays.

Entry Ticket - The ticket of entry to the monument adds the cost of museum visit too -

For Foreigners - 750 INR per Head
